Philadelphia’s real estate market presents a diverse landscape, with median home sale prices and sales volumes varying significantly across its numerous neighborhoods.

Recent data from Redfin provides a detailed snapshot of this variability, highlighting the unique characteristics of each area.​

In Center City, the 19102 ZIP code (encompassing parts of Rittenhouse Square and the Avenue of the Arts) reported a median home sale price of $725,000 with 17 homes sold. Adjacent to this, the 19103 area (including Logan Square and parts of Rittenhouse Square) saw 60 transactions at a median price of $562,500.
 

 
The 19106 ZIP code, covering Old City and Society Hill, matched this sales volume with 60 homes sold and a median price of $550,000. Meanwhile, the 19107 area (encompassing Chinatown and Washington Square West) experienced 33 sales with a median price of $367,500.

In West Philadelphia, the 19104 ZIP code (University City) recorded 36 home sales at a median price of $258,800. The 19139 area (covering parts of Haddington and Mill Creek) saw 76 transactions with a median price of $125,000. Nearby, the 19143 ZIP code (including Cedar Park and Kingsessing) had a substantial 125 sales at a median price of $181,000.

North Philadelphia displayed a wide range of market activity. The 19120 ZIP code (Feltonville and Lawncrest) led with 95 homes sold at a median price of $180,000. The 19124 area (Frankford and Juniata) surpassed this with 110 sales, though at a lower median price of $170,000. In contrast, the 19132 ZIP code (Strawberry Mansion) reported 91 sales with a notably lower median price of $85,000. The 19134 area (Port Richmond and Kensington) had the highest sales volume with 153 homes sold at a median price of $110,000.

In South Philadelphia, the 19145 ZIP code (Girard Estate and parts of Point Breeze) recorded 117 sales with a median price of $285,000. The 19146 area (encompassing Graduate Hospital and parts of Point Breeze) saw 159 transactions at a median price of $418,000. Meanwhile, the 19147 ZIP code (Queen Village and Bella Vista) reported 95 sales with a median price of $510,000. The 19148 area (Lower Moyamensing and Whitman) had a higher sales volume of 131 homes sold at a median price of $265,000.
